Our Story

Established with a broad social vision

Aarohi Charitable Trust was established on 03 March 2016 with a broad social vision centred on education, awareness, empowerment and community welfare. The Trust was not built around a single cause, but around the belief that steady, honest work across several everyday subjects — science, water, elderly welfare, de-addiction awareness, women's empowerment and skill development — can gradually contribute to a better society.

Based in Basti, Uttar Pradesh, the Trust engages with local communities in a manner that is practical and grounded, focusing on awareness and education rather than on short-term or symbolic activity.

What We Believe

The principles behind our work

Awareness First

We believe informed communities make better decisions for themselves and for those around them.

Education as a Foundation

From classroom learning to vocational training, education is treated as a long-term investment in people.

Empowerment Through Participation

Empowerment is built through participation, confidence and access to opportunity, not through dependency.

A Community-Centred Approach

Our work is shaped around the everyday realities of the communities we engage with in and around Basti.

Respect and Dignity

Every area of our work, from elderly welfare to women's empowerment, is grounded in respect for the individual.
